The following terms and conditions govern all use of the website and all content, services and products available at or through the website. The Website is owned and operated by Garderobe. United Arab of Emirates is Garderobe's country of domicile. The Website is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation,Privacy Policy) and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site by Garderobe (collectively, the “Agreement”).

Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using the Website. By accessing or using any part of the web site, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Website or use any services. Garderobe considers these terms and conditions an offer and acceptance is expressly limited to these terms. The Website is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Your Account and Site
If you create an account/profile on the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and profile, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the account. You must not describe or assign keywords to your profile in a misleading or unlawful manner, including in a manner intended to trade on the name or reputation of others, and Garderobe may change or remove any description or keyword that it considers inappropriate or unlawful, or otherwise likely to cause Garderobe liability. You must immediately notify Garderobe of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breaches of security. Garderobe will not be liable for any acts or omissions by You, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

Every member is allowed to control a single account. If a member is discovered to have multi accounts, all accounts will be banned and deleted.

Responsibility of Account Holders
If you have an account and a profile, comment, or post material anywhere on the Website, post links on the Website, or otherwise make (or allow any third party to make) material available by means of the Website (any such material, “Content”), You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content. That is the case regardless of whether the Content in question constitutes text, graphics, an audio file, or computer software. By making Content available, you represent and warrant that:

  1. the downloading, copying and use of the Content will not infringe the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the copyright, patent, trademark or trade secret rights, of any third party;

  5. the Content is not pornographic, does not contain threats or incite violence, and does not violate the privacy or publicity rights of any third party;
  6. the Content is not in violation of the United Arab Emirates local, federal, and cyber laws;
  7. your profile is not getting advertised via unwanted electronic messages such as spam links on newsgroups, email lists, other blogs and web sites, and similar unsolicited promotional methods; and
  8. your profile is not named in a manner that misleads your readers into thinking that you are another person or company. For example, your profile’s URL or name is not the name of a person other than yourself or company other than your own.

By submitting Content to Garderobe for inclusion on your profile, you grant Garderobe a world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting your profile. If you delete Content, Garderobe will use reasonable efforts to remove it from the Website, but you acknowledge that caching or references to the Content may not be made immediately unavailable.

Without limiting any of those representations or warranties, Garderobe has the right (though not the obligation) to, at Garderobe’s sole discretion (i) refuse or remove any content that, in Garderobe’s reasonable opinion, violates any Garderobe policy or is in any way harmful or objectionable, or (ii) terminate or deny access to and use of the Website to any individual or entity for any reason. In this scenario, Garderobe will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid.

Electronic Communication

We accept payments via Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards, Cash on Delivery, Cash on Location (where available), PayPal and Bank Transfer. Cash on Delivery payment option is available without limitations for deliveries in U.A.E.

When you use the Site or send emails to Garderobe Dubai, you are communicating with Garderobe Dubai electronically. You consent to receive communications from Garderobe Dubai electronically. Garderobe Dubai will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the Site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Responsibility of Website Visitors
Garderobe has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material, including computer software, posted to the Website, and cannot therefore be responsible for that material’s content, use or effects. By operating the Website, Garderobe does not represent or imply that it endorses the material there posted, or that it believes such material to be accurate, useful or non-harmful. You are responsible for taking precautions as necessary to protect yourself and your computer systems from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other harmful or destructive content. The Website may contain content that is offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable, as well as content containing technical inaccuracies, typographical mistakes, and other errors. Custom Duties / Taxes:

Our items are shipped from Dubai, UAE. Almost all countries apply custom duties on import of items. The customers will be required to pay the customs duty upon delivery of the products.

Garderobe Dubai reserves the right to cancel any orders we deem as incorrect, faulty or suspicious.

Items can be displayed on our store in other currencies using the currency converter. However please note that all orders are processed in UAE Dirhams (AED)

We reserve the right to change or discount policies or cancel discounts at any time without prior notice.

Discount codes do not apply to Blogger / Influencer items.

Cash on Delivery:

Cash on delivery is available in the UAE. Buyers are obliged to pay the amount upon delivery for Cash on Delivery orders. Refusal to accept shipment will lead to legal implications including a ban on any further orders.


All items sold are pre-loved by a third party and the condition of each garment is clearly described on the website. If you receive your item and find it to be damaged or not as described, we are happy to offer you a full refund. If your item is received as described but you are not entirely satisfied with the product we are happy to offer you an exchange

We offer a 3 day return policy, that is, if you are not satisfied with the item when you receive it, we will offer you your money back.

Purchased Items can be returned for a refund of the purchase price ("Garderobe Dubai Price") provided all of the following conditions are met:

  1. Buyer expresses a wish to return is required and obligated to inform Garderobe Dubai about returns made or to be made or to initiate a return within 3 days of receipt. Contact Garderobe Dubai via Email
  2. International Buyers are obligated to arrange for returning Item via courier, at the Buyer's expense, to Garderobe Dubai.
  3. Buyers within UAE should contact our customer service team to initiate a return, by phone or email. Returns are free, which means we take care of the collection of the item. Payments made by cash can be refunded by bank transfer (applicable charges apply) or cheque (only within U.A.E). Payments via card are refunded back to the card.
  4. Item(s) must be returned undamaged in the original condition it was received, with Garderobe Dubai packaging includes; original papers, original packaging and tags still attached.
  5. Item was not confirmed as a final-sale, as was displayed or otherwise communicated on Site or with Buyer ahead of purchase.
  6. For International orders, Item must be shipped within 3 days of Buyer's receipt of the Item. And
  7. Item reaches Garderobe Dubai office in Dubai within 10 days of the Buyer's receipt of the item.
  8. Within 7-10 business days upon receipt of your returned merchandise, we will issue a refund to you. If you paid by cash or Bank Transfer, we will refund you through cheque or transfer it back. If you paid with a credit card or Paypal, we will issue a refund to the same card.
  9. Refund price includes only the cost of the item, and does not include any shipping fee paid, or custom duties. Any conversion or other fees paid by buyer on the card transaction to the card company are not refunded by Garderobe Dubai.

Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment (orders paid by cash will be refunded through cheque or bank transfer)

Refund amount includes 100% the value of the item, but does not include the shipping fee or any custom duties paid for importation, nor any additional charges charged by your credit card provider. In case an order is cancelled before delivery, the refund will also the include shipping fee if its is a paypal or credit card order.

Gift Cards

Garderobe Gift Cards may be used for purchases of eligible items on only. Gift Cards cannot be transferred for value or redeemed for cash. Any returns on items purchased with Gift Cards will be given as Gift Card credit, not cash. Purchases will be deducted from the Gift Card balance. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient’s Gift Card account. If an order exceeds the amount of the Gift Card, the balance must be paid with another available payment method (PayPal or Cash On Delivery). is not responsible for a Gift Card that is lost or stolen.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Consignment Terms

The following constitute a binding agreement between User (hereafter within these Consignment Terms “Consignor”) and Garderobe Dubai.

Consignor owns certain item(s) as may be described by Garderobe Dubai on Site and/or paper forms and as submitted by Consignor to Garderobe Dubai or collected from Consignor by Garderobe Dubai (collectively "Item").

Consignor warrants that it has good and marketable title to Item, which is not subject to any liens or other encumbrances, and further represents and warrants that Item does not infringe upon or violate any trademark, copyright, or other rights of any third party or any law.

Consignor resides in the UAE or another Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) country and wishes for Garderobe Dubai to sell Item on consignment basis on behalf of Consignor, subject to the following terms:

1.) Garderobe Dubai accepts Item from Consignor on a consignment basis only, with no assurances or limitations whatsoever as to the definite date or the price range at which the Item may sell.

2.) Garderobe Dubai only accepts Item of certain value, brands and condition as may be described on Site from time to time. The acceptance criteria may vary based on Consignor country of residence and shipping address.

3.) Pursuant to communication with Consignor Garderobe Dubai may arrange for a courier to contact Consignor for coordinating the pick-up of Item. Such Item must be properly packed by Consignor. Garderobe Dubai is not responsible for any damage to Item during delivery.

4.) Upon the physical receipt of Item Garderobe Dubai will evaluate it to determine its condition. An Item not meeting Garderobe Dubai\’s branding, authenticity or quality standards will not be accepted and Garderobe Dubai may notify Consignor to arrange for its return at Consignor's expense. Item will be deemed abandoned if not retrieved within Gregorian calendar day (“Day”) 30 from the date of such notice. Abandoned Item will be given to charity or otherwise dealt with as Garderobe Dubai see fit.

5.) Consignor will not submit counterfeit items to Garderobe Dubai. In the event Garderobe Dubai believes that an Item cannot be fully authenticated, Garderobe Dubai shall refuse to take possession of such Item. If Garderobe Dubai already took possession of such Item, Garderobe Dubai shall notify Consignor to retrieve Item at the Consignor expense. Item will be deemed abandoned if not retrieved within Day 30 from the date of such notice. Abandoned Item will be given to charity or otherwise dealt with as Garderobe Dubai see fit.

6.) If Consignor repeatedly provides counterfeit Item, Garderobe Dubai may report this to concerned authorities and charge Consignor AED 100 per such Item to cover Garderobe Dubai authentication and processing efforts, regardless whether Consignor arranges to ship Item back at their expense. 

7.) Consignor grants Garderobe Dubai an exclusive right to display and sell the accepted Item for a 90 Day period ("Consignment Period"). The Consignment Period shall begin on date Item is received by Garderobe Dubai and ends on Day 91 after Item receipt. After the Consignment Period ends, Consignor may request the return of Item, with return shipping expenses to be paid by Garderobe Dubai. The Consignment Period may be extended upon mutual consent. 

8.) During Consignment Period Garderobe Dubai will make commercially reasonable efforts to sell the accepted Item for an amount mutually agreed upon by the Parties being the selling price (“Price”). Garderobe Dubai retains the right to determine the final Price to offer Consignor and Consignor retains the right to reject the offer. In the event that Garderobe Dubai is already in possession of item for which Consignor rejects Price, then Garderobe Dubai may ask Consignor to arrange the return of Item at Consignor expense.

9.) Garderobe Dubai is entitled to retain 20% to 30% of Price being the consignment fee (“Fee”). Thus, after Item sells, the Consignor would be paid by Garderobe Dubai 70% to 80% of Price as Payout. In general, the higher the Price the lower the Fee and the higher is the Payout. Specifically, in most cases Garderobe Dubai will pay the Consignor:

  • 60% for the first 3,650 AED
  • 65% between 3,650 AED – 18,250 AED 
  • 70% for 18,250 AED and above
  • 80 -85% on selected items*


For clothing there will be a 50% commission. However, on selected special pieces or brand new/current season collections your commission will be 70%
We charge a commission of the above specified amounts from the final sale price. The 80-85% commission refers to items like classic Hermes, classic Chanel or other limited edition high value items. If you have any questions please email us at info@garderobe.

    10.) Garderobe Dubai retains the right to later set or modify the Fee in relation to the Price and Consignor retains the right to reject the Fee and have the Item returned at Garderobe Dubai expense.

    11.) During the Consignment Period Garderobe Dubai will photograph, describe and display the Item for selling it at Price via Site and may also display and promote it via social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook as well as third party websites like eBay. Consignor acknowledges and agrees for Item to be stored, advertised, displayed and sold by Garderobe Dubai along with items belonging to other consignors during the Consignment Period.

    12.) After receipt by Garderobe Dubai of full Price from Item Buyer, Garderobe Dubai will pay Consignor the Price less Fee as payment (“Payout”). Payout is usually effected twice a month on the next business Day following the 1st and the 15th of a Gregorian calendar month. Garderobe Dubai and consignor shall mutually agree upon the method of Payment, which can be via check, bank account transfer . Transfer charges to be borne by Buyer may apply for certain Payment methods and/or amounts. 

    13.) Consignor electing to retrieve Item before the end of the Consignment Period must pay to Garderobe Dubai AED 175 per item to cover the costs Garderobe Dubai incurred by authenticating, storing, cataloging and photographing Item and Consignor will be responsible for the return shipping expenses.

    14.) Should Item sells via a layaway payment plan, the length of which may be communicated on Site from time to time, Consignor agrees to be paid only after the buyer has completed payment for full Price of Item. This usually occurs between a minimum of 30 Days and a maximum of 90 Days from Item selling date. When required, Consignor agrees to extend Consignment Period until the Buyer payments related to such Item are complete.

    15.) At any stage during Consignment Period, Consignor may request Garderobe Dubai to reduce Price by at least 10% as to have Item displayed additionally in the SALE section at Site. A Price reduction may be requested by Consignor more than once during Consignment Period provided that the Price reduces by at least 10% each time. Payout will reduce proportionately to Price reduction.

    16.) If Item remains unsold after Consignment Period, Consignor shall:

    • Either asks Garderobe dubai to send Item back to Consignor, in which case the shipping charges are covered by Garderobe dubai if sending Item back to source address at which Item was sent. Or
    • Grants Garderobe dubai the right to decrease the last agreed Price gradually by up to 40% over the next 6 months (“Final Period”). Payout will reduce in proportion to the Price reduction effected at Garderobe Dubai discretion up to a maximum of 40% reduction. For avoidance of doubt, by not asking Garderobe Dubai to send Item back as in a. above, Consignor is irrevocably granting Garderobe Dubai the right to decrease the Price as in b.

     17.) If an Item remains unsold after the end of Final Period then Garderobe Dubai, at its expense, may ship it to Consignor. 

    18.) In the event that Item sent by Garderobe Dubai is returned by courier as undeliverable owing to Consignor failure to register, provide or update an appropriate delivery address, Garderobe Dubai will attempt to contact Consignor by e-mail, phone and at the physical address that Consignor registered. If such repeated contact attempts are unsuccessful, Item will be deemed abandoned 30 Days after Final Period. Abandoned Item will be given to charity or otherwise dealt with as Garderobe Dubai see fit.

    19.) Garderobe Dubai takes possession of the Item at Consigner's own risk and is not responsible for loss or damage owing to a Force Majeure including but not limited to fire and earthquakes.

    20.) Title to and ownership of Item will remain with Consignor until:

    • Sold by Garderobe Dubai to a third party for Price, upon which title and ownership of Item will pass to the buyer. Or
    • Bought by Garderobe Dubai for Payout, upon which date title and ownership of Item will pass to Garderobe Dubai on Consignor receipt of Payout. Or
    • Lawfully laid claim to by a third party, such as via a court order. Or
    • Is proven counterfeit and/or is abandoned pursuant to clauses 4, 5 and 18 above. Or
    • Otherwise, not physically present in Garderobe Dubai stock on hand owing to a Force Majeure condition.

    Other terms may apply as mentioned on www.Garderobe and/or in correspondence between Garderobe Dubai and Consignor.

    Counterfeit Items

    For items that are not accepted after quality check, Garderobe Dubai will contact you to arrange a return. If Garderobe Dubai is unable to establish contact with you for 3 months, the item will be donated to charity.

    In the case of inauthentic items, Garderobe Dubai  will charge an authentication fee of AED 100 per item at the time of return.

    Garderobe Dubai will not bear the charges nor arrangement for shipping back inauthentic or unsaleable items.

    Copyright Infringement
    As Garderobe asks others to respect its intellectual property rights, it respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material located on or linked to by violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify Garderobe and Garderobe will respond to all such notices, including as required or appropriate by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material. Garderobe will terminate a visitor’s access to and use of the Website if, under appropriate circumstances, the visitor is determined to be a repeat infringer of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of Garderobe or others. In the case of such termination, Garderobe will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid to Garderobe.

    Intellectual Property

    This Agreement does not transfer from Garderobe to you. Any Garderobe or third party intellectual property, and all right, title and interest in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with Garderobe. Garderobe,, the logo, and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with, or the Website are trademarks or registered trademarks of Garderobe or Garderobe’s licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Website may be the trademarks of other third parties. Your use of the Website grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Garderobe or third-party trademarks.

    Garderobe reserves the right to display advertisements on your profile.


    Garderobe reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Shop at,’ on your profile.

    Garderobe reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Modifications will be effective from the day they are posted. Your continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes. Garderobe may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the Website (including, the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

    Garderobe may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate this Agreement or your account (if you have one), you may simply discontinue using the Website, or delete your account (if you have one). All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

    Disclaimer of Warranties
    The Website is provided “as is”. Garderobe and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Neither Garderobe nor its suppliers and licensors, makes any warranty that the Website will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, the Website at your own discretion and risk.

    Limitation of Liability
    In no event will Garderobe, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement for substitute products or services; or (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data Garderobe shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond their reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.


    General Representation and Warranty
    You represent and warrant that (i) your use of the Website will be in strict accordance with the Garderobe Privacy Policy, with this Agreement and with all applicable laws and regulations (including without limitation any local laws or regulations in your country, state, city, or other governmental area, regarding online conduct and acceptable content, and including all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United Arab Emirates or the country in which you reside) and (ii) your use of the Website will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Garderobe, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Website, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement.


    In case of any disputes the law applicable would be based on the UAE Governing Law. will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC sanctions countries in compliance with the law of UAE.”

    This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Garderobe and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and it may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized executive of Garderobe, or by the posting by Garderobe of a revised version.


    VAT” means value added tax or any similar or substituted turnover or sales tax, imposed or administrated in the United Arab Emirates or elsewhere. 

    Any consideration to be paid or given for taxable supplies made by Garderobe Dubai to the other party is to be treated as exclusive of VAT. The recipient of any such supply shall, in addition to the consideration for the supply or service, pay to Garderobe Dubai an amount equal to any VAT chargeable in respect of the supply in question on demand by Garderobe Dubai

    The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) of which the UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are member states along with Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman will have VAT implementation at a standard rate of 5%. From the 1 January 2018, businesses/ individuals in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) are required to comply with VAT rules and obligations. Charging of VAT, issuing tax invoices, filing periodical VAT returns and paying of VAT if any due to the tax authorities. Garderobe Dubai will comply to the rules and obligations for VAT set by the Governments of all jurisdictions we do business in and will calculate the VAT % as per what the Legislation specifies and the conditions that are to be met in order to apply the mechanism of sale of second hand goods.

    The payout as per agreement amount refers to the amount payable to you in respect of the goods and will be exclusive of VAT. Garderobe Dubai is not liable to pay the Seller and has the right to hold the payout(s) that may be due to the Seller’s non-compliance and defection as per the VAT Decree- Law applicable in the jurisdiction of business and shipping. Garderobe Dubai is not liable for any defect, non-compliance, non-payment that is limited or not limited to VAT and due on the Seller’s side for the items purchased by Garderobe Dubai
