Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions govern all use of the Garderobe.ae website and all content, services, and products available through the website. The Website is owned and operated by Garderobe. The United Arab Emirates is Garderobe's country of domicile.
By accessing or using any part of the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all related policies, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Website.
The Website is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or who are accessing the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Visa Credit Cards
- Mastercard credit and debit cards
All orders are processed in UAE Dirhams (AED), regardless of the currency displayed on the Website.
Selected products may be eligible for installment payment options offered by independent third-party payment providers. Availability is subject to approval by the relevant provider and may vary depending on the customer's eligibility and location.
By selecting an installment payment option at checkout, you acknowledge and agree that your financing arrangement is entered into directly with the applicable third-party payment provider and is governed by that provider's terms and conditions, privacy policy, and any other applicable agreements.
Garderobe is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, any installment agreement, financing decision, payment schedule, fees, charges, penalties, or disputes arising between you and the third-party payment provider.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and accepting the applicable third-party provider's terms and conditions before completing their purchase. Use of any installment payment option constitutes acceptance of those terms and conditions.
Discount codes:
- Only one discount code may be used per order.
- Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively after checkout.
- Some products may be excluded from promotions.
- Garderobe reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.
Shipping & Customs
- Garderobe ships to destinations within the United Arab Emirates and internationally, subject to shipping availability and applicable restrictions.
- Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the delivery destination, order contents, and selected shipping method.
- Customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. Such charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Garderobe is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, clearance procedures, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Certain products may be restricted from import into specific countries due to local laws or regulations. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that purchased items may be legally imported into their destination country.
- Garderobe will not provide products or services to individuals, entities, or jurisdictions subject to applicable sanctions, embargoes, or trade restrictions, including those imposed by the United Arab Emirates or other applicable authorities.
Orders
Submitting an order does not guarantee fulfillment. Garderobe reserves the right to cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, system issues, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Garderobe reserves the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or reject any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment verification issues, inventory discrepancies, suspected resale activity, violations of these Terms and Conditions, or any other circumstance that Garderobe reasonably believes may expose it to financial, legal, or operational risk.
Ownership and risk of loss pass to the customer upon delivery of the item to the shipping address provided during checkout or upon collection of the item from Garderobe's premises.
Returns & Exchanges
Garderobe accepts return requests on eligible items only. Return requests must be submitted within 3 calendar days of the delivery date. Items marked "No Returns", "Final Sale", or otherwise identified as non-returnable on the product page are not eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, including all original packaging, tags, authenticity cards, dust bags, accessories, and any other accompanying materials. Garderobe reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these requirements.
Return requests may be submitted by contacting our Customer Care team at customercare@garderobe.ae within the applicable return period. Once approved, Garderobe will provide instructions for returning the item.
All returned items are subject to a quality and authenticity inspection upon receipt. Garderobe reserves the right to refuse any return if an item shows signs of wear, use, damage, alteration, cleaning, repair, tampering, removal of tags, replacement of components or accessories, or is otherwise returned in a condition different from that in which it was delivered.
Any claim relating to authenticity, condition, completeness, missing accessories, or item description must be submitted within the applicable return period. Garderobe reserves the right to reject claims raised after the return period has expired.
Once the returned item has been received and successfully passed inspection, Garderobe will process the approved refund, credit note, or store credit within five (5) business days. Refunds issued as store credit will be available immediately upon processing. Refunds issued to the original payment card may take an additional 7–10 business days to appear in the customer's account, subject to the processing times of the relevant card issuer, bank, or payment provider.
Refunds are issued only for the purchase price of the item and do not include:
- Original shipping charges
- Return shipping charges
- Customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or clearance fees
- Payment processing fees
- Promotional credits, vouchers, discount values, or gift card amounts
- Any third-party financing or installment fees
Where applicable, Garderobe reserves the right to deduct reasonable return handling, shipping, customs, payment processing, and administrative costs incurred in connection with the order or return.
Product Condition & Authenticity
Unless otherwise stated, products sold by Garderobe are pre-owned, pre-loved, vintage, consigned, or second-hand luxury goods. As such, items may show signs of wear, age, use, repairs, alterations, storage, or other imperfections consistent with their condition and age.
Product descriptions, photographs, measurements, condition ratings, and authenticity assessments are provided in good faith for informational purposes only. Minor variations, signs of use, or characteristics that do not materially affect the item's functionality or value shall not constitute a defect or grounds for return.
Colours, textures, finishes, materials, and other visual characteristics may appear differently depending on photography conditions, lighting, monitor settings, mobile devices, and screen displays. Garderobe does not guarantee exact colour reproduction.
Garderobe takes reasonable measures to authenticate items before offering them for sale. However, customers must notify Garderobe in writing of any authenticity concerns within the applicable return period and allow Garderobe a reasonable opportunity to inspect and assess the item before any claim, refund, chargeback, or dispute is initiated.
No manufacturer warranty, brand warranty, after-sales service, repair program, or other warranty offered by the original brand or manufacturer is included unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page.
Payment Method Refunds
Refunds for orders paid by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Shop Pay, or other electronic payment methods will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Orders paid using cash, bank transfer, store credit, gift cards, or any payment method that cannot be refunded to the original source may be refunded via bank transfer or issued as store credit at Garderobe's discretion.
Customers agree to contact Garderobe directly to resolve any concerns regarding an order before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, reversal request, or claim through their payment provider, bank, or financing provider.
In the event of a payment dispute, Garderobe reserves the right to provide supporting documentation including but not limited to order records, payment confirmations, authentication records, product descriptions, correspondence, photographs, shipment tracking information, delivery confirmations, and proof of receipt.
Bank processing times may vary and are outside Garderobe's control.
International Orders
Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and related charges imposed by the destination country.
If an international order is refused, abandoned, undeliverable, returned due to incorrect shipping information, non-payment of customs duties or taxes, import restrictions, or any other circumstance beyond Garderobe's control, Garderobe reserves the right to deduct all shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, storage fees, handling fees, administrative fees, and any other associated costs from any refund due.
Currency exchange fluctuations and bank conversion fees may affect the final amount received by the customer. Garderobe is not responsible for any differences resulting from exchange rates or banking fees.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless required by applicable law:
- Items marked as "No Returns" or "Final Sale"
- Items purchased through third-party financing providers
- Customized or altered items
- Gift cards
- Items returned outside the applicable return window
- Items that have been used, worn, damaged, altered, cleaned, or modified after delivery
Store Credit & Gift Cards
Store credits, gift cards, vouchers, promotional credits, and credit notes issued by Garderobe are non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be resold. Garderobe reserves the right to impose expiry periods where permitted by applicable law.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. Each customer may maintain only one account. Garderobe shall not be liable for any loss, damage, unauthorized access, or other consequences arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights, trademarks, logos, graphics, photographs, images, product descriptions, content, software, website designs, and other materials displayed on the Website remain the exclusive property of Garderobe or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, transmitted, displayed, or otherwise used without prior written permission from Garderobe.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website, products, services, content, and information made available by Garderobe are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, authenticity beyond Garderobe's stated authentication process, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Garderobe, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, reputational, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Website, purchase or sale of products, authentication services, shipping services, or any transaction conducted through the Website.
In all circumstances, Garderobe's maximum aggregate liability arising from any claim, dispute, transaction, purchase, or use of the Website shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific item giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
No Waiver
Failure by Garderobe to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce such provision at any later time.
Changes to These Terms
Garderobe reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on the Website. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
Force Majeure
Garderobe shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, failure, or inability to perform any obligation arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, governmental actions, regulatory restrictions, customs delays, carrier disruptions, cyberattacks, telecommunications failures, utility outages, labour disputes, strikes, civil unrest, war, terrorism, or any other force majeure event.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
VAT
All applicable VAT will be charged in accordance with UAE tax regulations and any other applicable legislation.
