Buyers
Each item listed on the Garderobe website will have been through a detailed assessment by our in-house/external authentication team before it is listed. If there is any doubt about the authenticity of an item, it will not be listed. We also make sure to mention any imperfections or signs of wear on the product page of each listing.
We only list pre-loved items (in some cases, items that are new and never used) that adhere to our quality parameters. Where there are imperfections, we make sure to highlight these clearly on the listing. The size of each item will be mentioned on the listing according to the brand ā depending on the brand an item is listed in US, UK, French, Italian etc. sizing. However, on every product page we have also provided a size conversion chart for your convenience.
You can either collect your item directly from the Garderobe store, or we will courier the item to you. Shipping costs will be added to your item at checkout. Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for more details.

All orders are fulfilled by either Garderobe or our Third-party logistics facilitators.
International Delivery: All international orders are shipped via third party logistics facilitators.
Domestic deliveries (within UAE): All domestic orders are primarily delivered through our own drivers or third-party logistics facilitators for selected locations
To prevent any losses or damages to the purchased item, the address can only be changed before the item is shipped. Once an item has been shipped out to your location, you will be unable to change the address.
We can allow for purchased items to be gift wrapped for all purchases made to be delivered within the UAE.

We do not provide a Cash on Delivery Option for items purchased from Garderobe. All items purchased on our website needs to be paid for online, prior to being shipped to you.

All items that are displayed for sale and sold by Garderobe are authenticated thoroughly and each item with us is covered with a warranty. If in the case that an item proves to be inauthentic, please reach out to our customer support team at customercare@garderobe.ae to report and resolve the case on priority.
We will require that the item be submitted to us for re-evaluation and re-authentication physically. If the item is found to be inauthentic, we will be happy to provide you with a full refund.
Garderobeās policy does not allow for items to be exchanged or returned. Any returns or exchanges can only be made if Garderobe is notified of any additional damages that have not been listed on the product page, within 3 days of receiving or purchasing the item.
For items being shipped to international locations, there will an additional āCustoms and Dutyā Fee that will have to be paid by the consigner. This fee will have to be paid at the time of clearance once the ordered item(s) reaches the destination country.
Please note that we have a āMake an offerā option on our website where you can click and send a direct offer to the seller. You will be notified by our team once the offer has been approved or rejected by the seller.
Acceptance to the offered price is up to the respective sellerās approval. The request shall be considered voided in case of no response from the seller within 72 hours.
Sellers
Yes, we will ship the item to the buyer, or the buyer can pick up their item directly from the Garderobe store.
Garderobe accepts the following categories of items for consignment.
Bags, Shoes, Clothing, Accessories (Sunglasses, Fashion Jewellery, Fashion Watches, Pins and Brooches, Scarves, Hats etc), Fine Jewellery and Luxury Watches.
Garderobe is highly committed to ensuring that all parties have a good experience. To meet this commitment, we are unable to accept certain items that do not meet our quality standards. This includes:
i. All items that are heavily used, stained, or damaged.
ii. Certain categories of items such as Lingerie and Swimwear for hygienic purposes.
iii. Certain High Street brands and others that are not accepted by Garderobe.
iv. All items that are found to be inauthentic/counterfeit.
v. Missing Hallmarks or Labels, Discoloured or Faded items.
**Please note that Garderobe can reject items after they have been received if they have been evaluated and do not comply with our quality standards.
If this happens, you can either pick up your item from our store at the below mentioned address:
Villa 1224, Al Wasl Road, Umm Suqeim 2, Dubai OR we will return it to you via our shipping partners for certain locations within the UAE. Alternatively, we would be happy to arrange for them to be delivered to your location by our fleet of drivers.
Please understand, the Item(s) will be held for 1 week after you have been informed. After the 1 week, you will be charged a fee of AED 15 per day, per Item. If the Item(s) are not collected within 2 weeks, the Items will be claimed as Garderobeās Property.
The better the condition of the item, the more likely it is to be sold quickly (and at a higher price). We do accept goods with some signs of wear and tear or those with minor defects. However, all clothing must be dry-cleaned before being sent to us. Please note that Garderobe will reject items that are received by us, that do not adhere to our quality parameters.
All articles of clothing that have been previously worn must be dry-cleaned before being sent to us. If upon evaluation, we notice, that the article has not been dry-cleaned, it will be returned to you. Please note that clothing will not be accepted if it has any stains, marks, odors, or damages. Please note that all items that are received from dry cleaning that are still stained or damaged, will not be accepted.
Garderobeās in-house team will price all items based on the below mentioned criteria including, but not limited to:
i. Retail price
ii. Resale market values
iii. Age of item
iv. Quality
v. Condition
vi. Demand for the product
An initial price will be proposed within 5 to 7 days upon receiving the items physically, or your submission via āSell your itemā form or Whatsapp. This price will then be confirmed upon receiving/examining your item for all online submissions.
If you do not agree with the price proposed, the item will not be listed on the Garderobe Website. The item will only be listed once you have approved of the quote sent.
If you have rejected the payout offered, our pricing team will attempt to revise the price and if a price is not agreed upon finally, the item will be returned to you if you they are physically available at the store. For all online submissions, the quote will be voided.
Please note, all rejected items that are dropped off to us at the store will be held for 7 working days, after which the consigner will be charged a late collection fee. Alternatively, Garderobe will arrange for the items to be delivered to your preferred location.
You can drop your items off to us in 2 ways.
Firstly, we can arrange for the item(s) to be collected by our driver once you share your location and address with us via WhatsApp on +97150 676 1442
Secondly, you can arrange for the items to be dropped off to us via courier or bring the items to our store physically.
If you have 10 items or more, or high value items. Please contact us on our Landline +97143942753 or Whatsapp us on +97150 676 1442 and our team will contact you back to arrange for the items to be collected from your preferred location!
If the buyer has any questions or clarifications regarding the item, we will do our best to answer it. However, if we are unable to provide the necessary answer, we will contact you.
Each item will be listed for a total period of 3 months or 90 days.
A discounting structure has also been put in place whereby we suggest the below discounting schedule.
i. 1 Month: Reduce payout by 10%
ii. 2 Months: Reduce payout by 20%
iii. 3 Months: Reduce payout by 30%
iv. 3+ Months: Reduce payout by 50%
The consignment period is for a duration of 3 months or 90 days. If you would like to take your items back or if you have changed your mind, please note that the below charges will apply for Early Collection.
i. Chanel/Hermes/Louis Vuitton/Dior Items: AED 200 per item.
ii. All other brands: AED 100 per item.
iii. Watches and Fine Jewellery: AED 200 per item.
We will do our best to ensure that your item sells however if it does not, we will offer you 3 options:
i. We can return the item to you.
ii. You can choose to discount the item as suggested in our discounting schedule.
iii. We can donate the item to charity on your behalf.
If your item is returned to us by the buyer, it will be re-listed on the website and in the boutique at the same price as it was listed for at the time of sale. We offer a 3-day return policy for items ordered online and a no return policy for items bought in-store.
It is completely free to list an item with us. We do however charge a commission depending on the resale values of the item.

Our payment terms are as follows:
i. Payments are due 30 days from the date of the sale of your item(s).
ii. You will receive your payment on the next payment cycle, immediately after your payment becomes due.
iii. Payment cycles take place every 10th, 20th and 30th of every month.
iv. If a payment cycle falls on weekends or public holidays, it will be paid on the immediate next business day following the holiday.
v. Our Primary and only payment method is through a bank transfer.ā
vi. If a cheque is requested, there will be an additional charge of AED 25
vii. We do not encourage international transfers. However, if in the case that an international transfer needs to be processed, please note that all bank charges will be born by the seller.
We would love to sell your item(s) at Garderobe. To do so, please submit the images of your items via the āSell with usā form on our website or feel free to send us images of the items that you would be interested in consigning via WhatsApp on +97150 676 1442.
Once we receive the images, our pricing team will get back to you with the initial estimation within 3-7 business days. Once you approve of the quotation, we will arrange for the items to be collected from your preferred location and send you the consignment contract.
Once the contract is signed and the items are received, they will go through a rigorous authentication process and will be professionally photographed to be listed on our website. This process usually takes about 5-10 days.
Yes, we do charge a processing fee which will already be accounted for, before sharing the final quotation with you. Please note that you are not being charged for the processing fee. This is added to the final selling price of the item. Please find below, the processing fee structure that is followed by Garderobe.
Ā· Items between AED 1 to AED 800 ā AED 80
Ā· Items between AED 801 to AED 10,000 ā AED 160
Ā· Items between AED 10,001 to AED 20,000 ā AED 400
Ā· Items over AED 20,000 ā 3% of the selling price
Garderobe will charge a fee of AED 350 per item for all items that have been deemed to be inauthentic/counterfeit. Furthermore, if an item that is sold turns out to be inauthentic after our in-house authentication process, the consigner is expected to return the full amount received from the sale of the item back to Garderobe. The item will also be returned to you once received from the customer/buyer.
